The 21-year-old woman has been identified as Umida Nazarova. As per reports, she had gone for a job interview at a Belarus factory where some sections of her hair were stuck in a machine which resulted in her scalp getting ripped off. Due to the life-threatening injuries, the woman died. The news has stirred her family, friends and the general public as well.
The seven weeks pregnant woman, Umida Nazarova, had visited the Svarmet factory located in Borisov as she was applying for a job there. The factor mainly produces welding wires and electrodes. While the staff was showing her around the facility, he hair became tangled in one of the industrial machines there. Umida’s mother Olga told the news outlet that her daughter’s hair got wrapped around her neck and that it caused her to get pulled into the mechanism.

Olga added that if her head had not been torn off, Nazarova would have been strangled by her hair. Umida Nazarova’s father Dmitry also addressed the incident and said that it took two lives as she was seven weeks pregnant. He accused the factory staff of not being responsible enough to give his daughter something to cover her head despite knowing she had long hair. Talking about the tragic incident, the Belarus Investigative Committee stated that a factory employee was showing the woman around the facility and giving her details on how the equipment operates here.
In the middle of the conversation, the worker paused to make a record in a register. The committee further said that when the woman turned her head, she witnessed the woman lying on the floor unconscious. The female worker saw that Umida’s hair was stuck in the machine. However, she was immediately freed from the contraption, her life could not be saved as she did not regain consciousness and died of her injuries.
In the shocking incident, the employee of the factory has been sentenced for causing the death of a person because they failed to fulfil her duty and showed a dishonest and negligent attitude. Udima’s mother had expressed her sadness saying she wanted to celebrate her wedding and looking forward to collecting a granddaughter or a grandson from the hospital but not this. The factor has offered to pay for the woman’s funeral.
