This is very symbolic. When you consider the number of out- of- school children in Nigeria, especially the girls child. Though the government can not visit all parents who have lost their children. However, his visits demonstrate that government is aware and concerned about everything happening. This gives hope and assurance to parents who may want to withdraw their children from school. Though the visit is laced with politics, but it’s a welcome move. I prefer a president who shows empathy.
