His fans are paying tribute to Gerald and expressing their deep condolence to him. Gerald Williams was the best in his field and got an amazing fan following across the world. Gerald Williams Cause of Death

Gerald Williams was born on August 10, 1966, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He took his last breath on February 8, 2022, after battling cancer. He was a resident of Tampa, Florida. He was one of the best friends of Yankee shortstop Derek Jeter. Gerald had 12 brothers and sisters. He was one of the three Atlanta Braves to appear on Saturday Night Live when he made his appearance alongside teammates Pedro Borbon and Mark Wohlers.

According to the sources, Williams appeared in 1,168 career games with the Yankees, Milwaukee Brewers, Atlanta Braves, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, New York Mets, and Flordia Marlins. During the 2000 season, it was one of the best seasons for the fielder with Devil Rays in which he battled 0.274 with 21 home runs, 89 runs batted in, and an OPS of 0.739.
