Undoubtedly, it has been a tough time for the entire bodybuilding community and the sudden passing of Ashley Gearhart, the IFBB Pro Physique Bodybuilder, has left many people even more sorrowful. The news was announced by Ashley’s younger sister Aubree Rhodes who took to Facebook to share the saddening piece of news. Aubree wrote that she has been dreading sharing the terrible news. She added that her older sister sadly died on Saturday morning, January 29, 2022. Ashley’s sister further writes that they have been taking their time to wrap their heads around everything.
Aubree Rhodes said that she hopes everyone can respect that they are not wanting to talk at this time. She also thanked people for sharing their condolences for them. She added that she asked the public to keep her entire family in prayers as they going through a hard time. Rhodes asked people to precisely keep her niece and nephew in prayers as they need it the most right now.
Ashley Gearhart Death Cause?
Aubree shared this lengthy post along with a series of photos with her sister and other family members recalling the good old days they all spent together. Although Ashley Gearhart’s sister shared a long post on social media, she did not disclose her cause of death. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her that she had to leave the world this early. However, some sources are claiming that the bodybuilder passed away in her sleep only. Yes, it is coming forward that she died peacefully in sleep and felt no pain.
It could also mean that she might have gotten a heart attack or some other health complication. Nevertheless, it is not confirmed if it was her death cause or not. Ashley’s family has not released any official statement yet. Talking about Ashley Gearhart, she was an IFBB Pro Women’s Physique Bodybuilder who has achieved milestones in her field. In 2013, she participated in her first competition in the Bikini division.
However, she progressed through her career as she switched to Women’s Physique. The young fitness freak’s main goal was to help athletes reach fitness and also focus on mental health as well. She was truly an inspiration having strength both inside out. Ashley finished first in NPC Natural Eastern USA Championships Bikini Class A in 2014 twice and succeded in plenty of competitions in her career as well. Our deepest condolences go out to her family.
