Meanwhile, many rich people find it hard paying for service rendered – not because they don’t have the money, but they want to hoard more and more to try to buy a trip to heaven for themselves, their wives and kids.
“And (Jesus) saw a poor widow put in two small copper coins. Truly I tell you, He said, this poor widow has put in more than all the others. For they all contributed out of their surplus, but she out of her poverty has put in all she had to live on.”
“When the young man heard (that he should help the poor), he went away in sorrow, because he had great wealth. Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”
