The Edo state police command has confirmed the kidnapping of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Fugar Division in Etsako Central native authorities space of Edo state, Ibrahim Ishaq.


Talking in an interview with journalists, the spokesperson of the state police command, Bello Kontongs, mentioned the police officer was kidnapped alongside the Auchi – Ekperi-Agenebode street on November 26.


”We wish to affirm to the general public that the DPO of Fuga division within the Edo state police command, CSP Ishaq Ibrahim Aliu, was on 26 November 2021, at about 6.20pm, touring alongside Ekperi-Agenebode street, in firm of his orderly, one Sergeant Aliu.
