Plateau lawmaker, Henry Longs dies after undergoing surgery

A member of the Plateau State Home of Meeting, Hon. Barr. Henry Soembis Longs, has handed away. 


Longs, who represented Pankshin South Constituency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) died in Jos on Sunday, November 28, shortly after present process a surgical procedure.


The Chairman of the Home Committee on Data, Philip Dasun, confirmed Longs’ dying on Sunday. 



“It’s true we misplaced one among our members this night. The lawmaker representing Pankshin South State Constituency, Henry Lengthy. He had an issue in one among his legs and had gone for surgical procedure. Sadly, he couldn’t make it. His dying is de facto very unhappy and we are going to miss him.” he stated. 


In the meantime, Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong has expressed disappointment over the dying of Longs.


Governor Lalong stated he obtained the information of the dying with shock and is deeply grieved by the demise of the State Legislator who he describes as a promising politician, authorized practitioner and dedicated citizen of Plateau State.



Lalong stated the late Hon. Henry Longs had been up and doing in representing the pursuits of his Constituency on the State Home of Meeting and did his greatest to reinforce the supply of dividends of democracy to the electorates throughout your entire State.


He prayed God grants Longs’ soul everlasting relaxation.
