A gasoline explosion occurred at Ojekunle road in Ladipo, Mushin in Lagos state in the present day November 16.

A press release launched by the Lagos State Emergency Administration Company LASEMA reads;

”The Company’s Response Staff, Eagle Squad at Cappa have been deployed to a fireplace outbreak at Ojekunke Road, Ladipo Mushin in the present day, Tuesday, sixteenth 2021.

On attending to the scene, the Response Staff found an open land with shanties and retailers the place gasoline cylinders are stacked.

Additional investigation revealed that the gasoline ignited and exploded.

Nevertheless, the Company’s Staff and its Fireplace Unit and Lagos State Fireplace & Rescue Service and Lagos Neighbourhood Security Corps, LNSC, have been in a position to put the hearth underneath management and the hearth males are blanketing the affected space.


Sadly, three male adults have misplaced their lives to the incident.

The DG/CEO LASEMA, Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu appeals to all residents within the space to stay calm and be cautious of their environment because the Responders are working higher collectively to subdue the hearth.
