Former Chairman of the Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee (INEC), Attahiru Jega, has taken a swipe at Nigerian leaders saying they’re the reason for Nigeria’s issues .

 

Whereas talking on the Maitama Sule Management Lecture Collection, organised by the College students Wing of Coalition of Northern Teams (SW-CNG), in Katsina State, on Monday, November 15, Jega attributed the safety and financial challenges affecting the nation to dangerous management.

Jega insisted that what Nigeria lacked was good management, declaring that it was time for the youths to come back to the rescue of the nation.

 “The elemental foundation of all of the crises we’ve in Nigeria be it social, political or financial is a disaster of management. Lately, we’ve leaders who’re egocentric, narrow-minded and people who lack the mental capability to guide Nigeria.

 

“However you as youths of Nigeria have the duty of coming collectively and realise that Nigeria really belongs to you. I do know a few of you’re dealing with disappointments and agonies whereas a few of you’re even uninterested in listening to that you’re the long run leaders of Nigeria,” he stated.

Additionally, the Coalition of Northern Teams  spokesperson, Abdul-Azeez Suleiman stated,
