Nigerian Filmmaker, Mishael Maro Amos heads to University of Oxford

Nigerian filmmaker, producer and funder, Mishael Maro Amos has been chosen for the James Currey Writing and Publishing Workshop, facilitated by British/South African author, Stephen Embleton, who has been chosen because the James Currey Fellow on the African Research Centre, College of Oxford.

 

Samson Onwe, President of The James Currey Society, in his letter, stated: ?I’m delighted to congratulate you for being accredited for the James Currey Writing and Publishing Workshop for 2021/22, (January fifth – February seventh, 2022), which displays your achievements within the discipline of African Literature.?

Mr. Amos is an completed artistic producer, who co-executive produced Different Aspect of Historical past, a biopic of Emeka Ojukwu, who studied Trendy Historical past at Lincoln Faculty, College of Oxford. Different Aspect of Historical past was screened on the College of Oxford on November 4th, 2021 to a star-studded viewers which included Nigerian Presidential candidate, Professor Kingsley Moghalu, Professor James Currey, DJ Cuppy, Emem Isong and lots of extra.
