Body of man with his hands tied recovered from Ilorin river

The physique of a but to be recognized man has been recovered from Asa River, alongside Emir’s Highway in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.


Spokesman of the State Fireplace Service, Hakeem Hassan Adekunle, in an announcement on Monday, stated the physique was discovered with the 2 arms tied on his again and head coated by some tattered wrapper.


The corpse, based on Adekunle, was introduced out of the river at about 3.20pm on Monday, November 15.



“Our officers have been in a position to take away the physique from the river and later handed it over to at least one Superintendent Ajape of Nigeria Police Drive, Kwara State Command,” he said. 


“The stunning facet of the incident was that the deceased’s arms have been tied collectively and his head too was coated by some tattered wrappers. Presently, no concrete proof has been discovered as regards the reason for this horrible incident.” he added. 


In the meantime, Director of the Fireplace Service, Prince Falade John Olumuyiwa, expressed unhappiness on the event and suggested members of the general public to be vigilant as they go about their day-to-day actions.
