The Lagos State Special Offences Court in Ikeja, Lagos has adjourned the trial of Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju Omiyinka, popularly known as Baba Ijesha, until September 27.
The case was adjourned by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo until the 11th and 12th of August in order to continue the trial in July.
Ibrahim Hassan, the Court’s registrar, announced that the case was adjourned on Wednesday, August 11 because the Judges were on retreat.
On June 24, Baba Ijesha was arraigned on six counts of defiling a minor. In this case, the prosecution has so far called two witnesses under the direction of Mrs. Olayinka Adeyemi, the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecution (DPP).
