Why The Yorubas May End Up Living As Slaves?

What is happening to the Yorubas in their land is an absolute disappointment.
This came just 48 hours after the house of Yoruba activist Sunday Igboho was ransacked.

This occurred without the intervention of the core Yoruba leaders speaking against it with their volley of voices. All of them went mute because the Sunday Igboho agitations are a channel to abrogate their ambition to become a superpower.

Let us ask ourselves a question.
How can we elaborate on the dividend of democracy’s effectiveness in the lives of all Yoruba citizens?
How many Yorubas have benefited from it?

Yet all the so-called Jagaban of Bogu, who the Yorubas believed would vouch for them, are the ones betraying them.
Following the terrible experience of COVID-19, Buhari only shared the money with his northern people, leaving the people in the South-west and South-east out. What followed was a strong plague and drought that was witnessed in Yorubaland, forcing the young youths to come out by force to disrupt the country’s peace. Despite this, Buhari was able to see the uproar that filled everywhere, but he chose to ignore it.

During the nationwide END SARS protest, nobody died in the north because the governors acted like a refuge for their people. It was only in Yorubaland that the youths were killed (at the Lekki tollgate).
This has been happening in Nigeria since the beginning of democracy. Still, so-called political bigwigs like Jagaban wanted to continue killing his people for him to become president by any means necessary.

As we speak, no place in Nigeria is experiencing abductions like Yorubaland. Who are the people behind the kidnapping?
Who was the mastermind behind the murders in Gangan? Who was responsible for the death of Pa Fashoranti’s daughter?
Who was responsible for Dr. Faborode’s death?
Who are those that caused riots at Shasha market in Ibadan, where many souls are being wasted?
While all this is happening to the Yoruba people, can we say Tinubu does not hear about it?
Is Tinubu deaf? Or blind?
Even if he cannot travel to learn about what is happening to Yorubas, does he not listen to the radio? Or doesn’t he watch TV?
Let us conclude that he is dead, dreaming older man; what has repudiated his mind, knowing that Sunday Igboho is attempting to free his people from endless servitude?

On what ground did he think he would become the president of Nigeria?

In this article, I only mentioned Jagaban because he is the most prominent Yoruba man who was introduced to Buhari and his political entourage.
But he is not suffering like the rest of the people; all of his children are happy, so he concluded that whatever happens can happen. He has forgotten that his Yoruba people are the most traumatized in Nigeria.

As a result, if all Yorubas do not want to die in slavery, emasculated by the Fulani system of government, they should rise.
It is a great pity that no one made a move to protest against Buhari’s tyranny when Sowore was attacked in Abuja, especially when he was detained. Now it is the turn of Sunday Igboho, whose life is at stake. If Buhari kills Sunday Igboho today, who will be the next person?
He will move on to arresting Sowore, then to Professor Banji Akintoye, Wole Soyinka, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, e.t. Then, who will be left to fight for the Yorubas when Obasanjo, too, has allied with them?
Yoruba Ronu ooo…
