Families, friends, students, and odas gathered to bury Miss Iniobong Ephraim Umoren, who was murdered as she tried to get a job.
She was buried on Friday, 14th May in her father’s village of Nung Ita Ikot Obio Enin Atai, Oruk Anam Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
Taking place in Akwa Ibom state capital Uyo, police have discovered that Iniobong Umoren, who had been on the lookout for work, had been found dead in a shallow grave.
Her death has caused serious concern among young people that are looking for a job, and Nigerians have protested for Justice to be served to the murderer of Iniobong for whom police say they intend to investigate one Uduak Frank Akpan.
According to the Police, the suspect that they have said is the murderer of Iniubong is still in police custody and is not dead contrary to the rumour that has been spreading.
Police denied the rumour that says Uduak Frank Akpan, who is the suspect, allegedly took his life inside the State Criminal Investigation Department detention facility.
