The commissioner of the Kogi Pension Board, Adebayo Solomon, was killed by gunmen.

The report says that the commissioner was killed on Saturday, and they kidnap the chairman of the Yagba East local government in the state, Pius Kolawole.

In a report, commissioner Adebayo was travelling from Kwara state’s capital to Kogi state’s capital when unknown gunmen fired on his vehicle for Eruku village, which is not too far from Egbe, the state’s border town.

His body has been taking to ECWA hospital in Egbe.

Police commander for Kogi state Ayuba Ede told Channels TV that the police are conducting a serious investigation into the case.

Despite all efforts, they have still not found the council chairman that they kidnapped.

On the other hand, a report says unidentified gunmen attacked the Abaomege Police Station in the Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi state.
