A rabbit thought to be the world’s greatest at 4ft-long was stolen as its proprietor provided a £1,000 reward for its safe return.
West Mercia Police consider the Continental Giant bunny was removed from its enclosure at the backyard of the house in Stoulton, Worcestershire, immediately on Saturday.
The bunny, called Darius, was given a Guinness World Record for being the largest of its type.
Owner Annette Edwards has provided a £1,000 reward for his return, stating this is a”very sad day”.
She chose Twitter begging for people to bring back him or to get anyone with information to return.
Ms Edwards pleaded on Twitter if you shot Darius to”please bring him back” stating he’s”too old to breed currently”.
A West Mercia Police spokesman said: “We’re appealing for information following the theft of an award-winning rabbit from its house in Stoulton, Worcestershire.
